i knew I’d love your paper! I love the way you write, seriously! If you wrote books I’d collect them. lol Good introduction I like how you added plenty of detail. Makes the reader feel as if he or she is actually there at the picnic. I am going to have, to go see the movie overboard now. I am surprissed half of the movies our classmates are writting about I haven’t seen. This line..
my nickname in school was Annie, and the movie was at the box-office in 1987; the same year my “little girl” was born.
made me smile…i love that warm heart feeling where it just makes you smile and feel loved. your paper flowed well good job ann!
Ann, good paper. I would have thought that this would have been an easy paper to do, but having to define evil in our own consciousness and lives and that of other cultures and how they perceive evil in their lives makes it tough. I like how you start out your paper with an idealic scene, one that most of us, but not all, can relate to, with family and friends on a beautiful sunny day. You do a good job defining our perceptions of good and evil in our daily lives, in the movies and televison. I think the main theme of your paper that stands out to me is that there are many things that we let get in our way to helping and or loving others. For instance what other people do or don’t do. What influences their lives, such as money, power, or lust and how that affects others and ultimately themselves. Your paper has many good referrences and citations that add helpful aspects to support your thesis. I think these are the strong points to your paper that help get the idea across; that there is good and evil and good vs evil all around us and we need to be aware of which we are grabbing onto or affected by.
